SharePoint 2007 Default WorkflowUpdate: This EUSP Live Online Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, 1:00pm EST. There are many instances in the workplace where documents are emailed around, printed, or hand delivered for approval or feedback. Automating these existing processes can greatly enhance the workload on the people who have to coordinate the process. This workshop, Default Workflows in SharePoint 2007, gives you hands-on experience in creating Three-State Workflows and managing Approval/Feedback workflows in SharePoint 2007.

Workshop Overview

SharePoint comes with default workflows build in. These workflows can be attached at the document level, the list/library level and even at the content type level. In this workshop you will get hands-on experience in setting up and managing the SharePoint default workflows. We'll take a look at how the workflow is automatically documented through the workflow history. We'll also examine how workflow can be used to automate the feedback and approval processes that already exist in-house. The solutions in this workshop can be done by anyone with Site Manager permission without the use of SharePoint Designer.

Who is this for?

This workshop is aimed at site administrators and power users who need to manage and display graphical information in their SharePoint site. This is the second workshop in a three part series 'Just for SharePoint Site Managers Only'. You do not have to take the other workshops in order to take this one... they are all stand-alone solutions.
