I’m going to Vegas baby!

In my wildest dreams I come to Vegas in my private jet; my limo is waiting for me just outside the aircraft, I jump in and find myself surrounded by lovely ladies that treat me champagne and kisses. But that’s not going to happen!

What really will happen is that I come to Vegas after a super long flight from Stockholm and I feel dirty from the bad air-condition in the airplane, and am going to be tired. When I get out of the airport I will stand in line for a cab or a transfer that will take me to the hotel. I will share room with one of my colleagues instead of a sweet lady.

LOL, it will be grate anyway!

Sunday afternoon will start with a Swedish Microsoft event followed by the Passport party. Only someone really smart can tell when that party will end... ;-) It will be a blast!

Monday morning will probably start slow, and I may be thankful for that... But after lunch it all starts picking up speed. A mixture of sessions and blogging will have me occupied, I don’t understand how I will have time to do both, but somehow I will find the time. Networking is another activity that I find very fun; I just have to find time for that as well. I hope to meet with a few chosen ones, but to honest am happy to talk to anyone about anything. ...Except software development, that’s not my cup of tea.

BTW, if you would like to meet with me for a chat/drink, please suggest a meeting in the MySPC calendar.

I will focus on end user sessions, governance, strategy, business value and branding/design. The key to my success as a consultant is to understand my customers and what they struggle with.

My intention for the rest of the week is to mingle, go to as many sessions as I can bear and just have a very good time. Bon Jovi will definitely be an activity as well as the SharePointCity party. And I forgot, I have to try the casinos, not spending a million bucks, but I just have to try it for a while.

Some Christmas shopping for the kids, they just want iPads, spoiled are they...

On the Friday I have no plans so far; - all suggestions are welcomed!

So to summarize my week in short: Have fun, learn a lot, do some blogging, shopping and gambling. Eat good food with interesting people and last but not least, drinking Bud light.

PS. This is how it’s planned in my mind right now, but it can change fast! ;-)
